The African American Philanthropy Committee Fund is a fund at Central Carolina Community Foundation. Annually, AAPC will work to: 1. Support the mission of the Community Foundation by advising and helping promote, facilitate, and increase philanthropy within the Black community. 2. Provide leadership and advocacy for Black Philanthropy Month and Give 8/28 and other community giving days. 3. Identify, promote, and support participation in professional development and/or leadership programs by Black nonprofit professionals and Black-led and Black-benefiting nonprofit organizations. 4. Serve as a grant review committee.
