The Cayce Public Safety Foundation is proud to support the City of Cayce's Police, Firefighters, K-9 Unit, Park Rangers, and Animal Control Officers. The funds raised by the Public Safety Foundation help to ensure the city's public safety officers are adequately equipped with life-saving equipment. The City of Cayce Department of Public Safety recently split its 90 + member department into separate Police and Fire Departments, serving the city's 14,000+ residents across 16 square miles. These departments work traditional 12-hour shifts and through a staff of 5 dispatchers, public safety officers respond 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. Since its inception in 2010, the Cayce Public Safety Foundation has provided over $250,000 in assistance to the Cayce public safety departments.
