In addition to healthy, adoptable dogs, our rescue has a reputation for taking dogs that are older, have suffered injuries or that have chronic medical conditions. These have included blind dogs, deaf dogs, dogs with amputations, congenital deformities, and limited mobility, as well as dogs with heart conditions, diabetes and other disorders. Because we do not euthanize rescued dogs to make room for others, some of these dogs may be with us for a number of years or even for life.
