The Set In Stone Sustainability Farm aims to empower the Jenkinsville community and surrounding areas through education on sustainable living, farm management, nutrition, and food security. Our goals include offering hands-on learning opportunities for students of all ages, from Pre-K to 12th grade, and providing accessible workshops, classes, and resources on agriculture, gardening, and eco-friendly practices. Our certified kitchen and classroom, educational facilities, and outreach programs will help improve access to healthy food while fostering environmental stewardship. By promoting sustainability and community engagement, we seek to enrich local lives and support economic growth through sustainable practices.
The Set In Stone Sustainability Farm project will positively impact a diverse community in Jenkinsville, SC, and surrounding areas, particularly those who face barriers to education and economic opportunities in rural, underserved communities. Our programs will directly serve approximately 200-300 students annually, with a focus on those from low-income households, rural areas, and marginalized groups.
