The Brookland Foundation provides a variety of programs, services, and outreach activities that engage and empower youth, families, and the homeless throughout Lexington and Richland Counties. Through our Tutorial, Homeless Outreach, Health and Wellness, HIV/Aids, and Male Initiative programs we have impacted the lives of many and our aim is to expand these programs to extend our reach.
Program Overview
Homeless Outreach Program:
Provides services, promotes awareness, and advocates for homeless individuals and families across the midlands of South Carolina.
Health and Wellness Program:
Educates our community with information that encourages the pursuit of optimal health and works to decrease health disparities.
Tutorial Program:
Provides weekly afterschool activities, supplemental instruction, and homework assistance to students in Richland and Lexington Counties.
HIV/AIDS Program:
Seeks to inform and educate the community about HIV while encouraging risk education and preventive behavior.
Male Initiative:
Develops strategies, solutions, and partnerships designed to empower men and their families.
