Big Homie Lil Homie Mentoring

About this Organization

Our vision is to create positive change in the lives of young males and their families. Big Homie Lil Homie is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that offers mentoring programs for at-risk youth from single-parent homes. Our initiative focuses on young males aged 6 to 16 in the Greater Columbia Area, with the goal of shaping and developing them into responsible men within society. We organize discussions, outings, and provide educational assistance to guide them in a positive direction. Our mentoring program aims to enhance the quality of life for young males aged 6 to 16. We expect our program to assist hundreds of young males who require moral guidance and support. Through this initiative, we aim to achieve the following outcomes: - Improve the overall well-being of the youth by keeping them engaged in activities and providing educational support to prevent them from participating in risky behaviors. - Enhance the living standards of at-risk youth, ensuring they experience happiness and the opportunity to enjoy life like any other stable individual. - Reduce complications and low self-esteem resulting from a lack of moral support, by offering mentoring services to those identified as in need. - Partner with other organizations to provide essential resources for young males, creating a safeguard for them during various activities. - Foster strong and ongoing relationships with the youth we mentor and their families. - Establish an effective educational program aimed at increasing GPAs and test scores.
