The CFVF Cancer Respite Program is open to all residents of South Carolina actively undergoing cancer treatments. Patients are nominated by their treating physician. The Program provides an all-inclusive beach vacation for the patient and their household members and/or caregivers. CFVF is strengthening S.C. families by giving them a space to disconnect from cancer and reconnect with loved ones without worrying about medical routines, schedules and bills. The all-inclusive CFVF Respite Vacation Program includes accommodations for up to 7 nights, a stipend for gas and groceries, a meal in a local restaurant, a session with a local photographer, and an amenities package donated by the community with local gifts such as flowers, a shark's teeth hunt, a boat outing to Morris Island Lighthouse, etc.
