Mission Lexington has been meeting the needs of Lexington County residents in crisis for 46 years.
Mission Lexington is the hub of care for Lexington County, assisting families and individuals with life essentials like food, clothing, rent, mortgage and utility assistance as well as other resources, and guidance. In 2024, we met over 40,000 needs in Lexington County, ranging from helping an elderly couple with food to funeral expenses for a child, to helping re-home a family after a devastating total loss house fire and most recently Hurrican Helene much needed relief. Our partner network includes local businesses and government agencies, corporations, law enforcement, organizations, individuals and more than 80 member churches who assist in sustaining our vision daily.
In addition to our social services department, we operate the largest food pantry in Lexington County, feeding over 2,000 people monthly, as well as a mobile food pantry, that visits the rural parts of our county, along with a Donation Center and Thrift Shop.
