Paths To Wholeness is a nonprofit organization that proposes to help formerly incarcerated women prepare to reenter their communities. We service women from across the state of South Carolina. We begin our services three months before release from prison to offer an opportunity for vetting and allowing the potential client to learn about our program and its staff. We offer a one-year residential program at our transitional Home called "Bea's House" in Orangeburg, SC. Partnering with other community agencies like Orangeburg Mental Health, Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College, SC Works, and others, we provide the needed services for women released from prison and desire to become productive citizens in our community. In addition to training in life skills, our staff assists the residents with services that will empower them to succeed in employment efforts, furthering their educational endeavors, and reunification requirements. We offer a multigenerational approach to reunification, allowing our client and her children to participate in parenting classes, resources, and character development. We follow each client for an additional year upon completing our one-year program.
