Clean diapers are a fundamental necessity for all infants and toddlers. Nonetheless, one in three mothers and caregivers lacks sufficient access to diapers to ensure their children remain healthy, clean, and dry. Power in Changing was established to address this pressing need in South Carolina. Most financial assistance programs do not allocate funds for diapering necessities. Additionally, many childcare facilities require parents to provide diapers and wipes and cover weekly tuition and fees. Parenting is an inherently challenging responsibility, and it becomes significantly more burdensome when individuals cannot provide for their children's basic needs. Our organization is dedicated to offering assistance and empowering parents with the skills and resources necessary to navigate the complexities of parenting. The funds raised through Midlands Gives will be utilized to provide families in the Midlands with packages containing diapers, wipes, and other baby essentials. This initiative aims to enhance the well-being of both infants and their families.
