About this Organization
With our trained and certified faith based staff we offer free classes for young women, mothers, parents, and caregivers that help guide them into informed choices and a better relationships and therefore families. We beleive that healthier moms and babies equal healthier families. Therefore we offer proven programs and services that aid women with better health initiatives. We have group class and individual class options for education. We also have half of our programs in Spanish or to spanish speaking clients -Pregnancy and Newborn Program, Newborn and Infant Ed, and Toddler Parenting. Our courses on Pregnancy and Newborn Ed is a group class and begins with lessons on your first trimester through labor and delivery, and continue with over 18 lessons in breastfeeding, carseat safety, safe sleep, and baby gear. We have a Parenting Class Program titled 'Your Child' by Family Life and Dr. James Dobson which teaches parents and caregivers the roles of parenting as well as hows and whys of parenting. It encompases 12 lessons on healthy relationship building from 18mos. to adolescence (18yrs) with your child(ren). We also offer a series called Single Parenting That Works by Dr. Kevin Lehman. This program is designed to help single women choosing to parent navigate parenting alone successfully. Our 'Relationships and Boundaries' curriculum began in 2024 and now covers four different programs designed to teach our clients and students the hows and whys of Positive Partnerships, Boundaries, Love Lessons, and Sexual Risk Avoidance Education or Sexual Integrity, like when to say 'yes' and how to say 'no' and why we have certain patterns of behavior. Our Sexual Health and Relationships ed classes (SHARed) teach women (and men) the responsibilities we have with caring for our bodies, reproductive health, and giving students healthy initiatives when it comes to our minds, emotions, and spirit especially and specifically regarding pregnancy and family. We also do two series of classes on Post Abortion Support and trauma recovery for clients titled Unravereld Roots and Understanding Trauma. Trained staff facilitate and teach women in individual education classes who have experienced abuse and or trauma. These classes help them better understand family roots and toxic behavior patterns in order to help heal and hopefully experience recovery.
We offer resource assistance to our clients enrolled in classes here and while they take classes they earn points to spend in our baby closet and mom boutique. Students receive gifts with each class they take and a shower or graduation party upon completing 15 classes or one full program. We also give our students items on their wish list such as nursery furniture, diapers, clothes, and hospital bag toiletry kits. We enrich each of our classes with scripture and or spiritual applications (bibles are provided) too.
Our services cater to women facing or having faced an unplanned, unintended, or even unsupported pregnancy and needing help. They include free pregnancy tests, options counseling, and sexual health historys screenings or assesments. We have seeral trained advocates to guide a client into our services and programs or refer them to another service or program that is useful to them in our area.
