Block Party Prizes (May 6 11am - 1pm)

Block Party Trivia Prize
Join us for a game of trivia at the Midlands Gives Day Block Party at Segra Park (11am-1pm)! Winners will designate their prize to an organization participating in Midlands Gives.
- 1st Place: $1,000

Elected Official’s Challenge Prize
A friendly game among elected officials to win $500 for a nonprofit of their choosing at the Midlands Gives Day Block Party.

We will randomly select social media posts from early giving through Midlands Gives Day (April 1 – May 6) on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn that include #MidlandsGives2025 and award a prize to the organization the post references.

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina
Board Fundraiser Prize
13 - $1000
Board members play a vital role in raising funds and awareness for the organizations they serve. This prize is awarded to 13 randomly drawn nonprofits with a board member who has created a Fundraiser Page and received at least two donations from early giving through Midlands Gives Day (April 1 – May 6).
*“I am a Board Member of this Organization” must be included in the Fundraiser Story.
Matching Gifts

Greater Chapin Community Foundation Matching Gifts
Dollar-for-dollar match up to $500 for funds raised from April 1-May 6 for each eligible organization.

Kershaw County Community Foundation Matching Gifts
Dollar-for-dollar match up to $350
for funds raised from April 1-May 6 for each eligible organization.

Orangeburg and Calhoun Counties Community Foundation Matching Gifts
Dollar-for-dollar match up to $750 for funds raised from April 1-May 6 for each eligible organization.

Sumter Community Foundation Matching Gifts
Dollar-for-dollar match up to $500 for funds raised from April 1-May 6 for each eligible organization.
Size categories are determined by the operating budget submitted by the organization during registration. The breakdown is calculated to ensure there is a fair number of nonprofits in each size category. The 2025 size categories are:
Prize Guidelines
- Prizes are awarded to the nonprofit, not the donor.
- Prize money does not count toward matches.
- Organizations must receive at least 10 gifts between April 1- May 6 before they are eligible to win a prize. Exceptions: Truist Bank Hashtag Frenzy Prize, CCCF Elected Officials Challenge Prize, CCCF Block Party Trivia Prize
- Organizations may not win more than one prize. Exceptions: BCBSSC Prize, CCCF Block Party Trivia Prize, CCCF Elected Officials Challenge
- DAF donations and manual entry donations do not qualify for prizes. Exceptions: CCCF Impact Prize.
- Community Funds at Central Carolina Community Foundation offer matching gifts to benefit organizations in the specific geographic regions they serve. Eligibility of the regional matches are based on the physical address submitted by the nonprofit organization during the registration process and approved by the Community Fund Board.
- If a prize is unable to be awarded based on the prize criteria and eligibility requirements, CCCF reserves the right to expand the criteria and eligibility to award the prize.
